Cat lovers unite! Join the Hawaiian Humane Society for some kitty fun to celebrate Love a Cat Month in June at our Meow Mele event. All cat adoptions that day will be free. The details are below.
Feline Fest Sunday, June 22 Hawaiian Humane Society
Whether you’re frisky or feral, all feline aficionados are invited to go cat crazy. Ample parking at Prince Kuhio Elementary School for this event held at the Hawaiian Humane Society. All feline adoption fees are waived on this day only.
Schedule of Events Noon All About Cats Chat Dr. Sue Sylvester-Palumbo, of the Cat Clinic in Kapahulu, has devoted her entire veterinary practice to felines.
1 - 3 pm • “Feline FilmFest” Showcase & Awards • Kitty Art Exhibit • Cat Toy Making Workshops • Cat Crazy Artisans • Feline Face painting
Feline FilmFest Enter the Hawaiian Humane Society’s first Feline FilmFest. All videos will be shown to the public at the Feline FilmFest event on June 22 at 1 pm at the Humane Socety's clroom. Winners will be presented with prizes at the screening.
Three winners will be chosen by a panel of judges. The winners will win a prize package valued over $150 including a Kitty Cot, cat goodies, and a Petco gift card.
Feline Film Festival Rules • Select the category most fitting your entry. • Video may be up to 2 minutes in length. • No animals may be harmed in the making of your video. • Deadline to enter is May 31. • By entering this contest, you give the Hawaiian Humane Society the right to show your video.
