I'm new to this world of helping feral cats. I spayed and neutered a family cats/kittens up at UH greenhouses where I do my research. The kittens are already about 3 months old or so but I was hoping someone who is experienced with socializing feral kittens would be willing to take on the task of socializing them?
I have one kitten right now getting sterilized at Humane Society today. I will take her home to recover for one or two nights but after that if I can't find anyone who will socialize I will put her back out where I found them. I caught her Saturday evening. At home in my bathroom she kind of freaks out if I let her out. But if I wrap her in a towel I can pet her and hold her. When she is inside the cage I can pet her through it also.
It would be so nice if this little kitty could have a real home instead of having to live outside by Manoa Stream. But I know this is quite a task as she is older. Any help is appreciated.
